When I was in London this summer, I met some very interesting people while doing a Fashion Marketing & Design course at Central St. Martins. I’ve learned a lot of things about exhibitions, the whole process from designing a clothing piece until the shipment to stores, and marketing. I would recommend everybody to follow a summer, winter or easter course at Central Saint Martins in London.
Okay, back to the main subject. While I was there, I met this girl who has a friend that was launching her brand and her first collection in the upcoming London Fashion Week..Charini Spring/summer 2011
Today was the launch of her second collection, spring summer 2012. I’ll give you a little impression of the brand.

One important thing of the brand is that all materials they use are sourced exclusively from Sri Lanke with the highest of commitment to ethical standards. The collections replace conventional material with environmentally friendly components while supporting local craft communities. The don’t have metal or plastic in any of their products..
